Uno Minda has expanded its EV accessories portfolio with the launch of a Portable Car EV Wall Charger, aimed at simplifying home and on-the-go charging for electric vehicle users in India.
The device supports a 3.3kW fast-charging output and is built to operate reliably in harsh weather, thanks to its IP65-rated protection against water and dust.
It works with all EVs using a Type 2 connector, and includes an LED display that shows real-time charging information and alerts in case of errors.
Designed with practicality in mind, the charger is compact, lightweight, and packed in a durable carry case, making it suitable for everyday use, road travel, and emergencies. Uno Minda has also equipped it with safeguards against overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits to reduce safety risks for users.
Speaking about the launch, Karna Markan, Head – Sales & Distribution (Accessories), Uno Minda Ltd., said the growing EV market needs charging solutions that prioritize reliability and accessibility.
He noted that many users struggle with convenience and portability, and the new charger aims to bridge this gap with a combination of durability, safety features, and universal compatibility.
The Portable EV Wall Charger will be available through leading offline retailers and online marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, and Unomindakart. It is priced at ₹50,000, with an introductory launch offer of ₹32,514, and comes with a one-year warranty.
